Registration of Product

The norms and procedures required to obtain the permit of Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics and Perfumes or to make permit registration alterations are set out in Resolução RDC nº 211, de 14 de julho de 2005 (in portugues). This Resolution was published taking into account of the need to update the norms and procedures arising from Administrative Rule 71, of May 29, 1996, and based upon Law 6.360, of September 23, 1976 and its Decree 79.094 of January 5, 1977. In addition the importance of making compatible Brazilian regulations and instruments within the ambit of the Mercosul.
