Vector Control
The aim is to keep the overland vehicles and the border crossing
points free from breeding places for larvae and adult insect species,
rodents and any other vectors which can transmit disease.
- Monitor
rates of infestation by Aedes aegypti;
- Identification
of nuclei of above;
- Locating
and collecting larvae and adult species for entomological identification;
- Control
measures adopted - spraying of insects in transport proceeding
from areas where Yellow Fever and Dengue are endemic , elimination
of breeding places by means of physical, chemical or biological
methods;
- Check Vehicle
Fumigation Certificate.
