Troubleshooting

A) If the user opens more than 10 pages simultaneously using Acrobat Reader in Internet Explorer 4.0, the following message will appear:

Error "Maximum number of files" When viewing PDF files in Internet Explorer 4.0.

To solve such problem, that is, to be able to open any number of pages simultaneously, it is only necessary to run the "Adobe Acrobat Control for Activex" software (ocxinst.exe), which can be downloaded from the following address:

http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/ocxdnld.html

1. Such software is only required for Internet Explorer 4.0. It is not necessary for Netscape 4.0.

2. To install:

a) Download file ocxinst.exe

b) Close Internet Explorer 4.0

c) Close Adobe Acrobat (Reader)

d) Double-click on file ocxinst.exe

e) Follow the instructions on the screen.

d) If any problems during the installation process occur, notify Anatel through our customer service form.

B) The user may face some difficulties to visualize PDF files due to the file size and subsequent problems in retrieving it from the Internet. If that is the case, we recommend saving the document to the computer in order to access it afterwards.

How is this done?
To save the document before accessing it, click on the link with the right button of your mouse. Select the option "Save link/target as" and choose the folder where you would like the file to be saved. After the document is downloaded, double-click on the file and wait to visualize the document.
