Bireme
Bireme is a PAHO Specialized Center, established in Brazil since 1967, in collaboration with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Secretary of Health of the State of São Paulo and the Federal University of São Paulo. BIREME's objective is to stimulate technical cooperation in health scientific and technical information among Latin American and Caribbean countries (the Region), in order to develop the means and capacities for providing equitable access to all relevant and up to date health scientific and technical information on a fast and efficient basis.
